First finish of the blog!

Yep. You read that right. It's a finish! It's amazing and spectacular and...
...It's tiny! haha.
Yes, sorry to get you excited but it's still the first finish of the blog! This is for a friend's little girl.
The pattern is C from the Medieval ABC found in Cross Stitch Crazy issue 193. It only took me a couple of hours. I changed the little character from a bard to a princess for obvious reasons. I did make a few errors (which I will not point out to you ;)) but I don't think you can really tell.

Well, I wish this was the only pattern I liked in CSC but unfortunately no.
Of course it would have a gorgeous Joan Elliott Mermaid in it! Haha.

Well, this is 'Belle De Mer' and not only did I already go a splurge on all of the materials for her but I will be adding her onto my DUCJC2015. I've decided to remove Sailor Jupiter because I was disappointed to learn that not all of the Sailor Scouts were charted and I'd rather have them all done up together.

I've also recently discovered that a close friends is due to have a little boy in January and that another close friend is getting married in August next year so I think I will have to swap out two other projects from my DUCJC list so that I can add a Birth record and also a Marriage record. I haven't found any that I like so far but I will certainly post when I do,

Now, here I was thinking that I wold have a few months of blogging to go before I got even close to 10 subscribers but I logged on today to find 8 of you! My goodness! Thank you so much! Now I have to get my butt into gear and start putting a prize together for my 10 subscriber give away. haha.

Well, that's all for now. I have some more progress on Halloween Town but I will do some more and put a progress picture up after the weekend. I'd really like to have part 1 completed by then.

As always, thank you for reading and subscribing.
Nel.
